Antarctica breaks decade-long cold record with Earth’s lowest temperature
The week of July 12 brought a 240-degree temperature swing across the globe, as Antarctica plummeted to more than 100 degrees below zero.
While much of the U.S. and Europe have spent this summer trapped under relentless heat domes and record highs, the bottom of the planet has swung hard the other way. Concordia Station, perched high on the Antarctic plateau, plunged to minus 119 degrees on July 18.
According to reports, that’s the lowest temperature recorded anywhere on Earth since 2012, and it came within half a degree of Concordia’s all-time record.

Eastern Oregon is smoked out, no relief in sight. I can hear jets flying above the smoke canopy and occasionally I can see chemical disbursements through the smoke layer. So what are they spraying? The summer from hell has arrived, we were warned. Thanks Dane, it’s gotten easier talking to all the naysayers about weather modification now that it’s in their eyes and lungs. Back up into the nineties today, making sure all my bird baths are full.
My guess is that they are spraying something to make the forest burn even faster.
“85+” wildfires in central oregon now!

The 2026 El Niño
Double Blue Ocean 2026/2027?
The 2026 El Niño threatens to contribute to loss of virtually all Arctic sea ice in September 2026, which would in turn result in albedo loss, transfer of ocean heat to the atmosphere and additional emissions that could jointly increase the global temperature dramatically and could subsequently also cause virtually all Antarctic sea to disappear a few months later, as also discussed in an earlier post.
On July 9, 2026, NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center issued a statement that El Niño is present and will strengthen through the end of the year, with a 97% chance it will persist through early spring 2027. Forecasts indicate that the 2026 El Niño will reach historic heights within a few months time.

Trump rolls back protections for threatened species and habitat for endangered species
The Trump administration also said it would make it harder to designate areas as protected “critical habitat” for endangered species. This is expected to make it easier for industrial development in these areas.

2026 Oceans Heating Equivalent to 12 Hiroshima Bombs Per Second
In 2025, the world’s oceans absorbed heat at a rate equivalent to about 12 Hiroshima‑sized atomic bombs detonating every second throughout the year Europe Says+1. This figure comes from a major international study involving over 50 scientists from 31 research institutions, published in Advances in Atmospheric Sciences EnviroLink Network.
How the figure is calculated
The Hiroshima bomb “Little Boy” released roughly 63,000,000,000,000 joules of energy Fast Company.
In 2025, the oceans absorbed 23 zettajoules of heat — about 365 million atomic bombs in total Fast Company.
Dividing that total by the number of seconds in a year gives the “12 per second” figure.
Why it matters
90% of excess heat from greenhouse gas emissions is absorbed by the oceans Europe Says+1.
This unprecedented warming is the ninth consecutive year of record ocean heat content
Do Bees Die Because Of Aluminum?
Last updated: May 23, 2026
A new scientific study has found high levels of aluminum contamination in bees, raising questions about whether aluminum-induced cognitive dysfunction is playing a role in the decline of bumblebee populations. The study, led by the University of Sussex, found that European honey bees are at the greatest risk of aluminum-related decline from chronic ingestion compared to other subspecies. Aluminum is a known neurotoxin with links to Alzheimer’s disease in humans, and the significant contamination of bumblebee pupae by aluminum raises the intriguing spectre of cognitive dysfunction playing a role in their population decline.
The research published in the journal Public Library of Science One has linked the metal as a contributing factor to the rapidly descending numbers of bumblebees. The study concludes that aluminum ingestion from floral products is likely a limiting factor to pollinator health and may contribute to pollinator decline but further study is necessary.

I live in Northern Minnesota, and have watched fire “outbreak” reports for about two weeks. Conclusion? These scattered fires can’t be *natural* events. They often spring up simultaneously in remote areas and multiple conflagrations are not campfire or lightening caused.
Many firefighters have commented that the intensity of the fires are not “normal”. Sound familiar? It should. These fires are intentional arson, period. Major News networks and weather reporting agencies are complicit in omnicide. The people remain mesmerized and asleep. It won’t take long for Nature to balance the books…
Exactly. All engineered, nothing natural here in Hell. Don’t expect a god to save you.
Currently in the Lake Superior region and experiencing the AQI at 700! Fire personnel have never seen anything like this in the boundry waters. We have been noticing the changes for the past eleven years as we are nomadic dwellers, who pick up all the trash the humans throw on the ground. May we all have the courage to stand up and stop this madness. Thank you Dane and your family for your dedication to reporting the truth.
